Update - End of 2023

End of the year and Christmas racing down the track and I just realised that I had failed to update after the Gransden show in September. Late October holiday to blame - Snowdon Mountain Railway in rain and fog! Belated regards to those who visited my stall at Gransden - abit cramped with the rail but we survived. Still a very enjoyable show and very busy as usual. One fly in the ointment - do I dare mention card machines again!!! Against my better judgement I invested in yet another infernal machine again and usual tech curse struck. Solo by name and Solo by nature - it refused to "connect" and just sat there looking smug! Entertainment of the day would have been me dancing on it - but then I remembered how much it cost.
I gave it a final chance at a local school where it managed 50% if you stood in the right place, so next year it will be a choice of cash or Russian Roulette.
Rant over!!
As usual our plans for next year are for Two or Three shows only, depending on circumstances - family and health. At our age buying green bananas requires consideration!
All the best for 2024 (Whoever is running it) and enjoy Christmas '23.
